Def Jam’s Rihanna’s “Needed Me” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) holds onto the #1 slot for the second consecutive week. Rick Sackheim, Noah Sheer, and Scott Maness have had quite a successful summer, as YG f/Drake’s “Why You Always Hatin” is at #21, up 130 spins, and Kanye West f/Kid Cudi’s “Father Stretch My Hands” (Roc-A-Fella/G.O.O.D.) moves inside the Top 25, picking up an additional 130 new spins. Major Lazer f/Justin Bieber and MO’s “Cold Water” (Mad Decent) debuts at #53 after just a handful of days, and is sure to be among the most added this week. Logic’s “Flexicution” also has a strong initial week, as it was up 140 spins. This week, they are impacting DJ Mustard f/Nicki Minaj and Jeremih’s “Don’t Hurt Me” (Roc Nation). They also just delivered the Desiigner follow-up, “Timmy Turner” (G.O.O.D.)

The Republic crew of Gary Spangler, Davey Dee and Stef Cole is shooting for Drake’s “Controlla” (YMCMB) to be next week’s #1 record. It was up a cool 840 spins, and is at #2. Drake continues to be a staple on everyone’s playlist, with most stations playing at least three of his tracks; a few stations have five Drake currents in rotation. Marc E. Bassy f/G-Eazy’s “You & Me” climbs to #16 after an increase of 250 spins, while Ariana Grande’s “Into You” is at #27, gaining 205 spins. Drake f/Rihanna’s “Too Good” comes in at #28, up 160 spins. It is really making some noise at Top 40, where it is already top 25 and growing. They debut Nick Jonas f/Ty Dolla $ign’s “Bacon” (Island) this week at #39, which had an increase of 225 spins. Kungs & Cookin’ On 3 Burners’ “This Girl” (Sound of Barclay) climbs to #49, up 140 spins. Belly f/Kehlani’s “You” (Roc Nation) shoots to #68, up 130 spins. They are impacting Shawn Mendes “Treat You Better” (Island) which is already top 10 at Top 40.

Columbia’s Ayelet Schiffman and James White have two records inside the Top 10, as Calvin Harris f/Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For” (Westbury Road) is at #6, up 320 spins, and Beyonce’s “Sorry” (Parkwood) is right behind at #7. She was up 160 spins. Adele’s “Send My Love” (XL) is at #48 this week.

RCA’s Inca and Lori G welcomes G-Eazy f/Chris Brown “Drifting” into the top 10 this week. They also have Usher’s “No Limit” climbing 15-12, with an increase of 325 spins. Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” (Monkey Puzzle) is really turning into a huge rhythm record, as it moves 24-20, adding 425 spins to her total. It is the #1 record at top 40 this week as well. Kid Ink’s “Nasty” tacks on 105 spins, which propels it to #34. Bryson Tiller’s “Sorry Not Sorry” has a great initial week, moving to #44, up 135 spins. They are gearing up for a big week with Tinashe’s “Superlove,” which they are impacting next week.

Epic’s Sujit Kundu continues to fire on all cylinders, as he has DJ Khaled f/Drake’s “For Free” (We The Best) at #4, up 480 spins. Fifth Harmony’s “All In My Head (Flex)” (SYCO) moves to #11 this week, thanks to another triple digit gain. DJ Khaled f/Jay Z’s “I Got The Keys” is at #22, adding another 75 spins, while Future’s “Wicked” is at #26. They debut Young Thug & Travis Scott’s “Pick Up The Phone” at #40 this week. Jidenna’s “Little Bit More” comes in at #70, gaining 70 spins, and they are impacting French Montana f/Drake’s “No Shopping” this week.
