CROSSOVER
THE BALLSTREET JOURNAL

I hope everyone is having an amazing Thanksgiving. It has been an extremely mild fall here in the East, but the weather feels like it is about to change quickly. We have officially entered the holiday season, and this year will be wrapping up quickly. Look for some big album releases in the next two weeks, with The Weeknd leading the way.

With a solid game plan, executed well, Sujit Kundu and team Epic grab the #1 spot this week with DJ Khaled f/Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown’s “Do You Mind” (We The Best). This marks Sujit’s fifth #1 record this year—it took 14 weeks on the chart to achieve this one. Young Thug & Travis $cott’s “Pick Up The Phone” holds at #15 this week, gaining 100 spins. 21 Savage & Metro Boomin’ f/Future’s “X” was up 70 spins, and moves to #59. Nick Grant’s “Get Up” is just getting started, and after one week is at #88.

Columbia’s Ayelet Schiffman and James White achieve their goal of a top 10 record with Russ “What They Want.” It jumps to #8 from #12 this week, garnering more than 150 new spins. John Legend’s “Love Me Now” climbs into the top 25, gaining 50 spins.

Gary Spangler, Davey Dee and Stef Cole at Republic reload with two new The Weeknd tracks. “I Feel It Coming” f/Daft Punk and “Party Monster” are from his LP Starboy, out Friday. They are impacting “I Feel It Coming” first. Ariana Grande f/Nicki Minaj’s “Side to Side” is now #7, after an increase of 330 spins. Amine’s “Caroline” is at #13, collecting an additional 255 spins. Drake’s “Fake Love” (YMCMB) explodes this week, posting an 825 spin increase. This was good enough to land him at #16. Post Malone f/Justin Bieber’s “Déjà vu” is at #27, while Hailee Steinfeld & Grey f/Zedd’s “Starving” is at #43, just missing a debut. Kid Cudi f/Pharrell Williams’ “Surfin’” is just getting started.

Over at Def Jam, Rick Sackheim and Noah Sheer welcome Kanye West’s “Fade” (G.O.O.D.) into the top 10. It was up triple digits. Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) lands at #17, and was up 110 spins. They have this week’s highest debut with Big Sean’s “Bounce Back” (G.O.O.D.). It comes in at #31, gaining 355 spins. They also debut Rihanna’s “Sex With Me” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) at #39. It was up 120 spins. 2 Chainz f/Drake’s “Big Amount” just misses his debut, coming in at #42. And Alessia Cara’s “Scars To Your Beautiful” continues to grow. It is now at #50, gaining 55 spins.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton has a tremendous impact week with Trey Songz’ “Push It On Me” (Motown). It is #45, thanks to a 235 spin increase. Look for this one to debut this coming week.

RCA’s Inca and Lori G continue to develop Rob $tone’s “Chill Bill.” It is at #18, tacking on another 100 spins. Afrojack f/Ty Dolla $ign’s “Gone” (Latium) is at #32, while Sia f/ Kendrick Lamar’s “The Greatest” (Monkey Puzzle) holds at #38. Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha’s “In The Name Of Love” moves #69-57, adding an additional 80 spins as it is just getting up and going. Khalid’s “Location” is up 50 spins, as new stations climb on board each week. Alicia Keys f/A$AP Rocky’s “Blended Family” is up 90 spins first week, landing her at #72.
