BIG MACHINE SINGS THE BOOZE
5/30/17

In Nashville, where the whiskey flows like water and Jack Daniel’s is the unofficial state beverage (if not a full-on state of mind), Big Machine Label Group is daring to shake the cages–and palates–of discerning Nashville cats.

The musical juggernaut (whose mega-roster includes Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett and Brantley Gilbert) is jumping into the booze biz, betting that Tennesseans raised on whiskey will flock to Big Machine Platinum Filtered Premium Vodka.

“Over the past 11 years Big Machine has provided the soundtrack to millions of fans worldwide,” said Big Machine Honcho Scott Borchetta. “With the launch of Big Machine Premium Vodka, we are now offering a superior product that perfectly complements the music we take such great pride in.”

The vodka taps into pure Tennessee limestone water and is distilled in small batches at the historic Tenn South Distillery in Lynnville, TN. During its initial launch, Big Machine Premium Filtered Vodka will be exclusive to the Middle Tennessee region. While it may not convert devoted whiskey swillers, the timing may be just right: With growing suspicion of all things Russian, cocktail connoisseurs around the globe may be soon just be saying nyet to exports in favor of Big Machine’s American spirit.
