ENTERCOM IS COUNTING ON COUNTRY
11/20/17

Entercom will broadcast a commercial-free, philanthropic radio event called Count On Country, it has been announced in the wake of the communications corporation's merger with CBS Radio. The one-hour program will be a tribute to the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival, featuring stories from the first responders at the scene.

In addition to honoring those affected by the Las Vegas tragedy, Count On Country will welcome performances from many of the acts that had performed at the festival. Hosted by Big & Rich, viewers will see performances from Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Rascal Flatts and more.

Viewers will also be encouraged to make contributions to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund.

"When the unthinkable happens, people come together. We come together to heal, to grow, to cry, to remember, and most importantly, to help each other. It is in this spirit that we present Count on Country, a remarkable collection of music, commentary and reflection surrounding the Route 91 Harvest Festival tragedy," said Pat Paxton, Entercom's President of Programming.

Count on Country will air 11/28 at 12pm local times on Entercom stations.
