KENNEDY GETS A LITTLE STONEY
12/5/17

The folks over at BBR Music Group are celebrating Byron Kennedy, who's been announced as the new VP of Promotion for imprint Stoney Creek Records. He most recently served as Director of West Coast Regional Promotion for fellow BBR imprint, Wheelhouse Records.

"Byron is one of the most natural promotion executives I have ever worked with," says BBR Music Group EVP Jon Loba. "Additionally, he is one of the most natural leaders I have ever worked with. I'm so excited to give him the reins of the Stoney Creek staff with the huge year they have ahead in 2018 and have no doubt everyone will be trying to steal him as VP, just as they tried to steal him as a regional."

Kennedy spent 15 years at CBS Radio overseeing a variety of formats as VP of Programming for the Sacramento cluster and he served as PD of country KNCI. He also launched several CBS Radio stations in Sacramento and Phoenix. In his new role, Kennedy will be reporting directly to BBR Music Group's SVP of Promotion Carson James.

In other news, HITS employees remain stoney creeps.
