THE HUBB A-HUBBA
10/22/18

CAA’s Nashville office is hosting a music-specific, invitation-only career-development event for college students from across the country with an emphasis on diversity. On hand at The Hubb, as it’s been dubbed, will be UMG Nashville chief Mike Dungan; CAA Music topper Rob Light (pictured), Parallel Entertainment’s Travis Myatt, Tri Star Sports and Entertainment CEO Lou Taylor, BMI writer/artists Cameron Bedell and Alex Hall and producer David Hodges, among other industry heavyweights.

During the summit, which began on Sunday, 10/21, recruiters host workshops, providing attendees with insights into the tools and skills needed in today’s job market.

The Hubb was named in honor of industry icon Barbara “Mother” Hubbard, Executive Director of the American Collegiate Talent Showcase (ACTS), whose program provides scholarships to students pursuing careers in the performing arts, whether onstage or behind the scenes.
