BAY ON THE WAY

Republic's James Bay has revealed that his much-anticipated sophomore album, titled Electric Light, is due 5/18. In tandem with the announcement, he's dropped a new song, "Pink Lemonade," which premieres today as an Apple Music Beats 1 World Record. The full-length was co-produced and co-written by Jon Green; Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence and The Machine) also contributed. A tracklist can be seen below.

Bay's clearly embracing a new more-electrified style, made evident by this track's flair, energy and Strokes-y vibe.

The singer/songwriter, who already sold out his spring headline tour, just expanded his North American and European runs, adding close to 30 dates. A ticket pre-sale for new shows starts on 3/14 at 10am local time, while the general public can jump in on 3/16. It's worth noting that fans can get pre-sale access by buying goods from Bay's online store, and each pair of online tickets comes with a copy of the album (in the U.S.).
