UN-.PAAK-ING THE NEW HOMEPOD SPOT

The new, Spike Jonze-helmed Apple HomePod spot—excuse us, "film"—features artist FKA Twigs dancing to "'Til It's Over," the evocative new single from Anderson .Paak.

In the clip, which updates the rhapsodic fantasy of classic movie musicals, Twigs' dancing stretches her apartment into psychedelic new configurations. "Will HomePod do the same for your home entertainment?" asked a marketing exec meaningfully in a Keynote presentation.

The song, by the way, was penned by UMPG writers Michael Uzowuru and Jeff Kleinman, and the pubco pitched the song for the sync.

More pressingly for our purposes, does the new song's presence in the spot (which is teased all over Apple Music and iTunes) mean a new .Paak album is on the way?
