U.K. MIDWEEKS: PRIEST BLESSING

The highest new entry in the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart looks set to be Judas Priest with Firepower (Columbia) at #3 in the midweeks, followed by Calum Scott with his debut, Only Human (Virgin EMI), at #5. Over at singles, Years & Years start at #24 with “Sanctify” (Polydor), the first single from their second album.

The Greatest Showman soundtrack (Atlantic) is still #1 on albums and on course for a 10th week at the top.

Further down, Editors’ sixth album, Violence (PIAS), is at #6, a posthumous Jimi Hendrix release, Both Sides of the Sky (Sony), is at #7, while Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy occupies the #12 slot with his debut solo album, Year of the Tiger (Napalm Records).

Logic is eyeing his second U.K. Top 40 album with new mixtape, Bobby Tarantino II (Def Jam), at #14.

Over on the Official Singles midweeks, it’s a close race for the #1 spot with just 470 combined sales separating “These Days” (Asylum) by Rudimental, which is currently in the lead, and “God’s Plan” (Island) by Drake.

High risers include George Ezra with “Paradise” (Columbia) up nine places to #10, while Zedd is up six spots to #12 with “The Middle” (Polydor) f/Maren Morris & Grey.
