TOP MONEYMAKERS:
A PATTERN EMERGES

Cardi B did it a few weeks ago, dominating the Revenue Chart following the first week in release of her album, and it will be Post Malone’s turn to do it next, but the most recent act to rake in all the bucks is, of course, J. Cole. Tracks from KOD occupy four of the top five slots, eight of the top 10 and 12 of the Top 20. Hip-hop superstars continue to Hoover up the big bucks—Drake, Post and Cardi joining King Cole in the bank vault. Indeed, the only non-hip-hop act on the leaderboard is Ariana Grande.

One outlier to keep an eye on is Jason Aldean’s “You Make It Easy,” which enjoyed the biggest week-over-week jump of the Top 50 with +37%, though it’s too early to guess this country force’s chances of breaking the monopoly.
