PAGE SPOILS ROBBIE'S POOL PARTY

While Pusha T and Drake are taking their beef online, Jimmy Page and Robbie Williams were duking it out old school, rich rock star style—in city hall.

As anyone who saw It Might Get Loud can attest, the Led Zeppelin guitarist lives in a 19th-century Gothic-revival mansion in west London where he is free to play his music as loud as he wants. His fear though, is that his neighbor, Williams, will damage the estate if he is allowed to install an underground gym and swimming pool. Vibrations from construction work would wreck the joint, Page contends.

The Kensington and Chelsea Council planning committee didn’t buy Williams’ statement that the construction work “will result in absolute minimal impact” on neighboring properties and held off granting an OK until it received further legal assurances, the AP reported.

Page said he was “really pleased at the outcome.” In handling the dispute, neither artist mentioned porn stars, baby mamas or where they nicked certain songs’ riffs from.
