K-POP GIANTS BTS OFF TO PERRY STRONG START

BigHit’s K-Pop phenoms BTS, in conjunction with Ron Perry’s Columbia in the U.S., have dropped new set Love Yourself: Answer and spent the first days of release positively dominating at retail, jumping to #1 on the iTunes album chart and ruling the singles side with the entire Top 12. Though other titles have moved back up the leaderboard, the album sat at #2 on Monday (8/27), while both versions of single “IDOL” remained in the Top 10 and the version featuring Nicki Minaj is #3; the "IDOL" video is blowing up at a record-setting pace. Love Yourself is also a Top 15 streaming album at Apple Music. The Orchard distribute ex-U.S. The band is on track for a #1 chart debut this week. How big will these lads get? Don’t touch that dial.
