According to a new CNBC report, Amazon is planning on releasing Alexa-powered hi-fi devices including an amplifier, receiver and subwoofer before the end of the year.

A pioneer of voice-powered devices, Amazon is finally diving into the high-end speaker market with competitors such as Google's Home Max and Sonos. Other new Alexa-powered devices set to release this year include a microwave and in-car gadget.

So if your oven starts playing Sinatra, don't blame us.
