I must admit, I am completely in when it comes to watching the Olympics, but between the French gymnast, Britain’s cyclist or the horses that fell on the hurdles these Olympics have been hard to watch at times. And Gisele … Nice Spotify streams on “Girl From Ipanema”: It has seen a 1,200% increase since her walk during the Opening Ceremonies.

And speaking of taking top honors, RCA, Riccitelli, JR, Daddio & Cooper have the #1 Pop record for the third week in a row in Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” (Monkey Puzzle), and it looks like they could be in for a fourth straight week. Pink’s “Just Like Fire” is now #7 and continues to post big sales numbers and strong female callout. Britney Spears f/G-Eazy’s “Make Me” is ready to make the jump into the Top 20 this week and is now on more 170 Pop Stations. 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Girls Talk Boys” pulled in WEZB, KJYO and KKOB this week to add to the 40+ stations already on board. Frankie’s “New Obsession” has pulled in new airplay from Radio Disney, WRNW, KDND and WZPL. And watch for the English version of Enrique Iglesias f/Tinashe & Javada’s “Duele El Corazon” which is already breaking at WPOW, B96, WKTU and Y100.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan have Calvin Harris f/Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For” (Westbury Road) aiming for the top of chart; the track has closed out the pop panel and is currently #2. Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” (XL) is now #8 and was one of the week’s Greatest Gainers. The Chainsmokers f/Halsey’s “Closer” (Disruptor) is on fire and took a huge jump on the chart this week to 30 from 54. Officially impacting this week, but with big support already, is Frenship f/Emily Warren’s “Capsize.” On board are KALV, WNOW and KMVQ.

Republic’s CW, Spangler & Russell moved Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” (Island) moved up another notch on the Mediabase Chart and the single is still Top 10 on the iTunes pop chart. Ariana Grande’s “Into You” looks ready to join the Top 10; new this week are WIHT, KXXM and XHTZ. Hailee Steinfeld & Grey f/Zedd’s “Starving” is the #1 Shazam Gainer this week and has climbed inside the Top 30. Marc E. Bassy’s “You and Me” pulled in WBMP, WKSC, WWPW and WDZH on impact and has charted already. Kungs & Cookin On 3 Burners’ “This Girl” (New Casablanca) is ready to move Top 25 and has been #1 Globally on Shazam for eight weeks. Demi Lovato’s “Body Say” is bubbling under and ready to chart with big help from KDWB, WRBW and WKSC.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothchild & Farag have the #1 Greatest Gainer again this week in Major Lazer f/Justin Bieber & MO’s “Cold Water” (Mad Decent) and it is heading Top 10. Rihanna’s “Needed Me” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) is set to move Top 15 and pulls in big spin increases from WIOQ, KPWK and KQMV this week. Alessia Cara’s “Scars (To Your Beautiful) “is now on over 75+ stations and ready to chart. Nathan Sykes f/G-Eazy’s “Give It Up” (Global Music Recordings) pulled in 30 stations including WPOW, WBMP and WQMP. They just announced he will be opening for Cara on her fall tour.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih have moved Lukas Graham’s “Mama Said” inside the Top 25 after five short weeks. New this week are WIHT, WNKS and WFLC. Tinie Tempah f/Zara Larsson’s “Girls Like” (Disturbing London) has charted and there are 140+ stations already spinning the track. Early leaders are KIIS, KKHH and KEGY.

Epic’s Team Glassman has Fifth Harmony’s “All In My Head (Flex)” (SYCO) officially Top 10 and the track is officially Top 10 at Rhythm as well. DJ Khaled f/Drake’s “For Free” (We The Best) is now Top 30 on the MB Chart and has the #1 album in the country; he is also my fave on Snap Chat at the moment! The new Meghan Trainor track, “Better” featuring Yo Gotti, is picking up early commitments prior to impact from KMVQ, KYLD and WWPW.

Mom & Pop’s David Jacobs continues to build Flume f/Kai’s “Never Be Like You.” It is currently #11 on the MB chart. With only a couple of hold-outs, the spin count is stacking up so watch for this one to move up inside the Top 10 shortly.

Capitol’s Rainey, Youngblood & Siciliano have Katy Perry’s “Rise” rising up inside the Top 30 and should be Top 25 shortly; it has pulled 140+ stations to date and is the #36 Shazamed song in the US. Troye Sivan f/Alessia Cara’s “Wild” is now Top 35. Spin leaders include KDIS, KLUC, WKSE and WIOG.

MUSIC WE LOVE

Pitbull f/Flo Rida & LunchMoney Lewis “Greenlight” (RCA), Meghan Trainor f/Yo Gotti “Better” (Epic)
