I love the fall—football, the turning of the leaves—and I love the extra hour of sleep when we “fall back,” but seriously … I don’t like it getting dark early. I need sunshine and lots of it!

The sun is definitely shining on Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan as The Chainsmokers f/Halsey’s “Closer” (Disruptor) stays in the #1 spot for a fourth week in a row. Calvin Harris’ “My Way” is poised to make the jump to Top 10 this week as new increases post from iHeart Custom, Y100 and WAKS to name a few. Frenship’s “Capsize” notches up inside the Top 30. Mike Perry f/Shy Martin’s “The Ocean” (DF Records) pulls in big support early from WBMP, KVIL and KHTS as the track looks to chart. John Legend’s “Love Me Now” is just about to chart pulling in new commitments from WWMX, WQMP and WNCI amongst a ton of other majors on impact.

Hollywood’s Finck, Smith and Ennis have two tracks looking to chart: Jordan Fisher’s “Lookin’ Like That,” which has pulled 70+ stations including WPOI, WNKS and KMXV; and Andy Grammer’s “Fresh Eyes” (S-Curve), which currently has 80+ stations on board. Leading the charge are HITS1, WRVW and WWMX. “Huge research! This one is a hit,” says Dave Labrozzi, PD, WWMX (pictured).
