U.K. CHARTS: THE VAMPS CLAIM #1

The Vamps have hit the top of the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with Cherry Blossom (EMI) while Internet Money land their first #1 single with “Lemonade” (10K Projects).

Of Cherry Blossom’s total sales, 87% were physical as the album was the week’s best-seller on vinyl.

Elsewhere on albums, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon (Polydor) by Pop Smoke rebounds to #2 from #4. Irish country singer Daniel O’Donnell’s Daniel (DMG TV) is new at #3, while Katie Melua’s Album No.8 (BMG) enters at #7. Beabadoobee charts at #8 with Fake it Flowers (Dirty Hit).

The Struts claim their first Top 40 entry with third album Strange Days (Polydor) at #11, and a deluxe edition of Tom Petty’s Wildflowers, Wildflowers & All The Rest (Warner Records) ends the week at #19.
