Kate Bush’s 1985 hit “Running Up That Hill” (EMI) is the most-streamed song on Spotify in the U.K. this summer. Tracks by Harry Styles and LF System also appear in the Top 5.
In June, “Running Up that Hill” hit #1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart for three weeks, thanks to an appearance in Netflix series Stranger Things. The track currently sits at #20.
Styles’ “As It Was” (Columbia) takes second place on Spotify’s list, followed by long-running #1, “Afraid to Feel” (Warner Records) by LF System. The global list is here.
In the Top 20, Warner counts eight entries, while UMG and Sony have six apiece.
