Radio personality Laurie DeYoung celebrated her 35th anniversary on 9/29 as the morning show host of The Laurie DeYoung Show on Baltimore's 93.1 WPOC-FM. As a staple in the Baltimore radio scene, DeYoung has been broadcasting on WPOC since 1985.
Having interviewed Country music icons like Dolly Parton, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and more, DeYoung has maintained a relationship with local listeners, Country music tastemakers and artists for more than three decades.
DeYoung has also been nominated for multiple radio industry awards including being inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2010, being named the CMA Large Market Personality of 1994 and CMA Major Market Personality in 2014.
DeYoung has managed to avoid us for nearly three decades as well, which should include an award on its own.
