Sony Music Publishing Nashville has renewed its global publishing deal with award-winning Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer, Tom Douglas.

Best known for penning chart-toppers for country stars like Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Brett Eldredge, Keith Urban and more, Douglas’ recent credits include co-writing Kenny Chesney’s “Songs for the Saints,” Maren Morris and Vince Gill’s “Dear Hate,” Kane Brown’s “For My Daughter” and Janson’s “Drunk Girl.”

“We all get here the same way, I suppose, we follow the song. I’m grateful to continue working with a team that supports my songs, and I can’t wait to see what’s next,” shared Douglas.

Launching his career in 1994 with a cut on Collin Raye’s “Little Rock,” Douglas has written country hits including McGraw’s “Grow Men Don’t Cry,” “Southern Voice” and “My Little Girl,” Martina McBride’s “God’s Will,” Lady A’s “I Run To You” and “Hello World,” Lambert’s ACM Song of the Decade, “The House That Built Me,” as well as Urban and Eric Church’s “Raise ‘Em Up,” among others.
