ACM SETS SPECIAL AWARDS

Rac Clark, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay and Joe Galante will be among the recipients of the Special Awards for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards.

Honorees will be celebrated on 8/25 during the 14th annual ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium. Hillary Lindsey will be honored with the Songwriter of the Year Award, an award she’s won in back-to-back years.

Also being honored are Ross Copperman, Toby Keith, Lady A, Loretta Lynn, Gretchen Peters, Curly Putman & Rascal Flatts, and Ken Burns’ Country Music. This year’s Studio Recording Award winners will received their awards along with SRA and Industry Award winners from last year’s 55th ACM Awards.

The ACM Party for a Cause benefitting ACM Lifting Lives will be held in August for the first time in Nashville.
