Monument has upped Katelyn Lester to Director, Regional Promotion.
In her new role, she will continue to manage the Southeast region for the label, where she’s been since the addition of the company’s radio promo team last year.
“From my first days at Monument I knew Katelyn was a top notch promotion person,” said Luke Jensen, Monument’s VP, Radio Promotion. “Seeing her in action firsthand, and hearing from our radio partners left no doubts that she was ready for the next step.”
Previously, Lester spent time at UMG as part of the marketing team after graduating from Belmont University.
Since joining Monument, she’s played a key role in introducing Caitlyn Smith to country radio with her first single, “I Can’t” f/Old Dominion, and driving Walker Hayes’ “Fancy Like” up the charts.
“It’s been a huge privilege to learn and grow alongside this team at Monument,” added Lester. “I’m so proud of what we have been able to accomplish and am lucky to be smilin’ and dialin’ all over the Southeast on behalf of these incredible artists.”
