On the bootheels of announcing its offerings for Country Music Month, Amazon Music has appointed Michelle Kammerer as Head of Country Music.
Kammerer, who joins the team on 10/18, will lead all efforts to continue growing country music listening on the service, inclusive of marketing, and artist and label relations through new initiatives and collaborations with a wide range of artists. She will be based in Nashville, and report to Andre Stapleton, Global Head of Artist and Label Relations for Amazon Music.
Kammerer was previously Senior National Director of Marketing & Promotion at BMLG Records having previously worked as National Director of Marketing & Promotion for BMLG’s Dot Records. Kammerer started her career at CAA before moving to Country Radio Broadcasters.
