THE LAST WALTZ NEW ORLEANS RETURNS TO THE SAENGER
3/10/22

Keith Wortman, Robbie Robertson, Sebastian Robertson and Blackbird Presents have announced The Last Waltz New Orleans will return to the Saenger Theatre to celebrate the 45th anniversary of The Band's 1976 farewell concert.

Set for 5/7 at 9pm CT during New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, the lineup features Warren Haynes, Grace Potter, Jamey Johnson, Don Was, Dave Malone, John Medeski, Cyril Neville, Terence Higgins, Bob Margolin, Mark Mullins and The Levee Horns, with special guests George Porter Jr. and Ivan Neville.

“New Orleans has always felt like a second home to me musically and spiritually. I am honored to have this extraordinary lineup of musicians celebrate the tradition of The Last Waltz in one of my favorite cities,” said Robbie.

“When it came time to decide on the show for this year we knew it had to be extra special, so we knew it had to be the Last Waltz with this lineup of musicians,” added Blackbird Presents’ Executive Producer & CCO Wortman.

The Last Waltz New Orleans is also an extension of Blackbird Present’s annual The Last Waltz tour, which plays to sold-out audiences annually in November.

Tickets will be available on Ticketmaster and at the Saenger Theatre box office on Monday (3/14) at 10am CT.
