MOC TEAMS UP WITH GARTH BROOKS
4/5/22

Garth Brooks has teamed up with nonprofit Musicians on Call to commemorate the milestone of serving their one millionth patient with a special virtual performance for 87-year-old Marianna Mishik at Staten Island University Hospital.

Organized as a part of MOC’s Jason Pollack Bedside Performance Program, the virtual visit saw Brooks perform a few of his hits for Mishik and her daughter, Audrey Parente. The Country star even offered to take Mishik dancing in Nashville once she recovered.

“This is a monumental moment for Musicians on Call and everyone who has had a hand in touching the lives of one million patients, families and caregivers, bringing them joy through music during some of their toughest days,” said MOC President/CEO Pete Griffin.

Continuing the celebration, MOC is also auctioning off a "One in a Million" experience that includes two VIP tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Festival, two Southwest Airlines round trip tickets and one million Hilton points. For more info, click here.
