As part of Gibson Garage Fest Week, Gibson Garage is hosting a special performance and donation presentation by Darius Rucker and Gibson’s philanthropic arm, Gibson Gives, to benefit the National Museum of African American Music fund for music education.
Gibson president/CEO James "JC" Curleigh and Brand President Cesar Gueikian will join Rucker on 6/9 at 9am CT for the announcement, which falls on the one-year anniversary of Gibson Garage.
Throughout the day, fans will also have the chance to win “Gibson Golden Pick” prizes by grabbing a pick from inside the MESA/Boogie amplifier located in store.
Prizes will be awarded every half hour from 10:30am-6pm, including the grand prize of a made-to-measure guitar and a tour of the Gibson custom shop in Nashville and the Garage Vault.
The weeklong celebration will continue to feature daily live performances through 6/12 from artists like Laci Kaye Both, Callista Clark, Eric Paslay, Ashley Cooke and Alana Springsteen, among others, as well as artist Q&A’s, guitar-playing lessons, music prizes, experiences and more from Gibson Gives to support the music community.
