Over the weekend, Lee Ann Womack, Mickey Guyton, Tyler Rich, Conner Smith and Kat & Alex performed at Bob Woodruff Foundation’s inaugural Got Your 6 VetFest, which honored and supported the local military/veteran community.
Held at Nashville’s Loveless Cafe & Barn, the event was hosted by comedian and Army vet Jon Stites—who runs Operation Comedy—and featured raffle prizes like a Dolly Parton-autographed guitar, carnival-style games and more from local favorites.
"We had so much fun hosting veterans, active-duty military and their families from the Nashville community, Fort Campbell and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Got Your 6 VetFest,” said Anne Marie Dougherty, CEO, BWF.
“It was an honor to celebrate this community, introduce them to local organizations and partners who are here to provide important support, and reminded Nashville veterans that they can come to us and rely on us to have their backs,” added Bob Woodruff, Founder, WBF.
To date, the BWF has invested $85m+ in programs that have empowered impacted veterans, service members and their family members across the nation. For more info, click here.
