BLOCK GOES PLATINUM
11/4/22

Mercury Nashville rising star Priscilla Block was surprised with her first RIAA Platinum plaque on 11/3 for her viral TikTok smash "Just About Over You." Several members of the team, including Warner Chappell Nashville President & CEO Ben Vaughn and UMG Nashville EVP, Marketing Royce Risser, were on deck to deliver the hardware just moments before she took the stage for a sold-out show at the Nashville Palace.

Block became the first female artist to accomplish the feat. As she noted, "Last night was one of the wildest nights of my career so far! I can’t believe all of the love and energy from the crowd at Nashville Palace. I am blown away! Then finding out ‘Just About Over You’ had gone PLATINUM! Are you kidding me?! Since the beginning, the fans have been behind me and so encouraging. It means the world to me and I feel so blessed."

In addition to her own solo tour, Block will serve as direct support for Shania Twain on the upcoming Shania Twain: Queen Of Me Tour.

Seen above thanking the sweet lord Jesus nobody from HITS could make it are (l-r) Vaughn, Risser, Brian Wright, Mike Dungan, Block, UMG Nashville’s Mike Harris, Underscore WorksCharly Salvatore and Warner Chappell’s Ryan Beuschel.
