APPLE MUSIC ADDS 52 MORE COUNTRIES

Apple is launching a massive expansion of its services units that will make Apple Music available in an additional 52 countries, taking the total to 167l. Much of the expansion is in Africa.

Beats 1 is adding seven countries in the Middle East: Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Bahrain.

Beyond adding African countries such as Namibia, Mali and Senegal, Apple Music will now be available in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Uruguay, Iceland, Kuwait and elsewhere.

The App Store, Apple Arcade and iCloud are available in 20 more territories beginning today. The company is offering six-month free trials of Apple Music; pricing ranges from $2.99 per month in markets like Angola, Cameroon and Zambia to $10.99 per month in Iceland.

Apple Podcasts, which now features over a million shows in more than 100 languages, is available in 175 countries and regions.
