SPOON! LIVE! TONIGHT!

Spoon is mounting a livestream, Back to the Life // Live From Los Angeles, tonight and Friday via Moment House. Transpiring at L.A.'s Teragram Ballroom, the show will feature songs from new album Lucifer on the Sofa as well as catalog gems. Andreas Neuman will direct the livestream.

The first track off the Austin band’s 10th long-player, which Matador will release 2/11, is called “The Hardest Cut.”

Frontman Britt Daniel said the guitar-heavy set is “the sound of classic rock as written by a guy who never did get Eric Clapton.” He co-wrote “The Hardest Cut” with keyboardist/guitarist Alex Fischel after spending “a lot of 2018 and 2019 listening to ZZ Top,” which we applaud. Hear the result here.
