WALLEN FOR THE WIN

Morgan Wallen's Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic) will finish 2021 as the year's best-selling album, with a total projected close to 3.2m.

Since spending its first 10 weeks at #1, Dangerous: TDA has remained in the Top 10. Wallen's will be the first country album to finish in the lead since the OG version of Taylor Swift's Fearless (Big Machine/BMLG) sold 3.2m in 2009.

In the runner-up spot will be Geffen's Olivia Rodrigo, who appeared to be within striking distance a few months ago. Rodrigo's freshman set, SOUR, is now projected to land at around 2.75m for the year.
