IS WEATHERLY RETURNING TO KROQ?
Look for Kevin Weatherly to return to Alternative radio bellwether KROQ in a high-ranking post as the station’s search for a top exec concludes—and a new chapter for one of its trailblazers begins.
Weatherly, who became KROQ PD in 1992 and was a key architect of its success as a format leader, spent 28 years at the L.A. station (and was latterly SVP of Entercom’s L.A. station cluster) before departing in 2020 to join Spotify as Head of North American Programming.
What will Weatherly’s new role be at his longtime home? Will he continue to ignore our requests for a ROQ block of T’Pau? Stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, you may pester KW here.
