Harry Styles has a history of lending support to LGBTQ+ fans who come out at his shows. During his second Wembley Stadium set, on 6/19, the Columbia superstar noticed one request in particular. It read, “From Ono to Wembley: Help me come out.”
Styles grabbed the sign and rainbow flag, declaring, “When this flag goes over my head, you are officially out. I think that’s how it works; when this sign goes over the head, you’re officially gay, my boy.”
Building anticipation, the heartthrob ran across the stage, teasing, “Nope, still straight” before raising the flag and shouting, “Congratulations—you’re a free man!”
Styles will continue his Love on Tour through March of next year. He’s set to perform 15 nights each at Madison Square Garden and Kia Forum, with an additional five nights each in Chicago and Austin.
That’s (hopefully) another 40 fans he’ll help come out during his massive tour—but don’t quote us; our math skills are notoriously subpar.
