Gibson’s charitable arm, Gibson Gives, is auctioning off a rare lot of six limited-edition autographed guitars.
Among those appending their John Hancocks to these gorgeous instruments are the likes of AC/DC’s Angus Young, Darius Rucker, Halestorm’s Lizzy Hale, The Cars' Elliot Easton, Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen, the Eagles’ Don Felder, Slash, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Judas Priest’s Richie Faulkner and the members of Aerosmith.
Proceeds will benefit Gibson Gives and the National Museum of African American Music's Music Education Fund.
Bidding for the guitars—which include a Gibson SG Standard (signed by Young), Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic (Rucker) and “Gold Rush” Les Paul (Aerosmith)—is open now through 7/6 at 3pm ET via Charity Buzz.
In the last three years, Gibson Gives has raised $3.5m+ to create, develop and support nonprofit organizations.
