AEG'S HOT SEASON

AEG Presents is still having an afterparty following a slate of heavyweight shows demonstrating the might of its Global Touring and Talent division.

Elton John performed a sold-out stadium gig in Syracuse, N.Y., and two in Toronto, while Rammstein brought the Teutonic pyrotechnics to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The band next heads to L.A. for performances at the Memorial Coliseum 9/23-24.

Arena looks included Karol G’s sold-out shows in Newark, N.J., Philly, New York (her first Madison Square Garden sellout), D.C. and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn; Ghost in Trenton, N.J., Providence, R.I., and Bangor, Maine, to name a few; Kid Cudi's rocking Boston, Philly, Brooklyn, D.C. and Toronto; and My Chemical Romance's doing volume business with two sold-out nights in Boston.

All in all, it’s been a season of big cheers across the company. Jay Marciano has decided to wear all the show merch at once, so someone please turn up the AC.
