CARPENTER CATCHES FIRE WITH "NONSENSE"

Former Disney star Sabrina Carpenter, signed to Imran Majid & Justin Eshak's Island, is going viral with "Nonsense," a standout track from her 2022 album, emails i can't send. Streams of the song have surged in January, affording the breakout artist career bests at the DSPs.

The song has surpassed 120m streams, soaring to #9 on Spotify’s U.S. chart and #13 at Spot global and becoming the greatest gainer on the platform's Viral Songs global chart. It's also been added to Today’s Top Hits.

"Nonsense" started moving in the last two weeks, riding momentum from TikTok, where the Sped Up Version is sparking a second wave of viral action.

Carpenter's cut is approaching the Top 25 at Pop radio.

Repped by manager Janelle Lopez Genzink, the erstwhile Girl Meets World actor (who was featured on the show's theme song) is heading into the second leg of her North American tour, which kicks off in March. Island VP A&R Jackie Winkler is Carpenter's A&R person, and she wants nothing to do with us.
