A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
9/1/23

Warner Music Canada’s Diamond Cafe has released his latest offering, Diamond Cuts.

The seven-track EP arrives on the heels of the 23-year-old’s debut L.A. show at the Peppermint Club on 8/31.

Performing to a packed house, attendees for the night included Anderson .Paak, Zack Fox, Freddie Gibbs, Denel Curry and El Debarge, who also jumped on stage for an impromptu performance of “Someone” and “I Like It.”

Hailing from Victoria, BC, the rising songwriter-producer has already garnered praise from the likes of Omar Apolloand Pitchfork, as well as landed multiple syncs on shows like HBO’s Ballers and Netflix’s The Lake.

In addition to writing and producing his own music, Diamond was recently credited and featured on Zack Fox’s EP, wood tip, alongside BNYX. He’s also previously worked with the likes of Gashi, Genevieve and The Cool Kids, and is currently cooking up new music with PNAU, Free Nationals, Oren Yoel and Reuben James, among others.

Diamond is slated to release more new music later this year. In the meantime, stream his new EP here.
