U.K. MIDWEEKS: LOSS LEADER
11/7/22

Drake and 21 Savage are on track to claim their first U.K. Official Albums #1 as a duo with Her Loss (OVO/Republic). Over on singles, Taylor Swift still reigns.

Should Her Loss hold onto its position by Friday, the set will be Savage’s first U.K. #1 and Drake’s fifth. That said, Swift could reclaim her throne; Midnights (EMI) is just behind at #2.

Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit’s Palomino (Columbia) is new at #3, while Welsh singer and actor Luke Evans starts at #4 with A Song For You (BMG).

A 25th anniversary 2LP edition of The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land (XL) could see it return to the Top 5 for the first time since 1997 at #5.

I Wish You Well (Demon) from Irish act Daniel O’Donnell is #6, while Japanese singer Joji could claim his second Top 10 album with SMITHEREENS (88rising/Warner Records) at #8.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Swift’s “Anti-Hero” is set for a third week at #1. Should the track remain on top, it will be her longest-running U.K. chart-topper to date.

Three tracks from Drake and Savage are in today’s Top 10: “Rich Flex” at #3, “Major Distribution” at #4 and “On BS” at #5.

After weeks of upward momentum, two viral singles could enter the Top 10 for the first time: Venbee and goddard.’s “Messy in Heaven” (Sony) at #8 and Meghan Trainor’s “Made You Look” (Epic) at #10.
