WMG Nashville star Brett Eldredge (pictured) is set to perform at this year's Music Biz Awards Breakfast on 5/17 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.

“Brett is responsible for some of the most exciting new music coming out of Nashville, and his performance is sure to close our Awards Breakfast on a high note,” said Music Biz President James Donio. “With four consecutive #1 singles to his credit, the 2014 CMA New Artist of the Year is fast climbing the charts with his new single, ‘Drunk on Your Love.’ We know that even bigger things lay ahead for Brett, and we are honored to share his talents with our attendees.”

The event will be sponsored by the Country Music Association (CMA) in celebration of the CMA Awards' upcoming 50th anniversary. And Warner Nashville President/CEO John Esposito—who also serves as Chairman of the CMA Board of Directors—will be honored with the Presidential Award for Outstanding Executive Achievement.

The Independent Spirit Award will also be awarded. This year's recipient is Redeye, a well-respected physical and digital distributor and label services provider.

A representative from HITS will be there and will be providing our own special syrup to chow down with.
