The Add Action at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Buddy, we're your guy. To prove it, here's the add action at three key Mediabase formats.

TOP 40

#1 Most Added honors go to Island/Republic’s Nick Jonas for his latest single, "Jealous," followed closely by Columbia's Calvin Harris and his track, "Blame" f/John Newman. It was a great first week as well for Fall Out Boy’s "Centuries" (DCD2/Island) while Warner Bros. posts two of the Top 10 Most Added with clean-up on Jason Derulo’s "Trumpets" and a big first week on Big Data f/Joywave’s "Dangerous." RCA has two in the Top 10 as well, with clean-up on both Mr Probz’s "Waves" and Pitbull f/John Ryan’s"Fireball." And it must be a week of twos, because Def Jam also has two into the Top 10 with clean-up on Jeremih f/YG’s "Dont Tell 'Em" and a nice follow-up week with Alesso f/Tove Lo’s "Heroes (We Could Be).”

RHYTHM

Shady/Aftermath/Interscope’s Eminem grabbed double-digit adds for “Guts Over Fear” f/Sia, but other than that, it was mostly a clean-up week, as Rich Gang f/Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan’s "Lifestyle" (Republic), Bobby Shmurda’s "Hot Boy" (Epic), Meghan Trainor’s "All About That Bass" (Epic) and Tinashe f/A$AP Rocky’s "Pretend" (RCA) all have single-digit commitments. Over at Columbia, Calvin Harris f/John Newman’s "Blame" and T.I.’s "About the Money" both nab 5 new stations as well.

ALTERNATIVE

DCD2/Island/Republic's Fall Out Boy has the Most Added track this week with their new hit, "Centuries." Not to be outdone, BUSH's "The Only Way Out" (Zuma Rock/RAL) had a stellar first week with impressive adds from KROQ and WRFF, among many others. It's also the #1 Most Added record at Active Rock this week. U2's "The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)” scores big for team Interscope, as does New Politics’ "Everywhere I Go" for DCD2/Crush. Meanwhile, RCA's Bleachers has another great closeout day with "Rollercoaster." And the record to watch is Banks’ "Beggin' for Thread" (Harvest), which debuted with a strong day of adds.
