With the Grammys now less than two weeks away on Feb. 10, it remains to be seen how much Frank Ocean's tussle with Chris Brown, who always seems to pop up at this time of the year, will hurt him in his bid for several categories, with many pundits predicting victory for Mumford & Sons in the Album race.

Argo, Lincoln Now Neck and Neck after Producers, Screen Actors Honors Handed Out
Ben Affleck's not letting an Oscar snub for Best Director hold him back.

With the Academy Awards' ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 24, less than a month away, Argo has set itself up as the film to beat, taking home top honors at both the Producers' Guild on Saturday night and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble last night, pretty much overtaking Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, which was previously the front-runner, as the favorite.

Argo would be the first film since Driving Miss Daisy in 1989 to earn a Best Picture Oscar without a Best Director nomination.

Last night's SAG awards virtually clinched Oscar wins for Lincoln's Daniel Day-Lewis as Best Actor and Les Miserables' Anne Hathaway as Best Supporting Actress, while solidifying Silver Linings Playbook's Jennifer Lawrence as the favorite in Best Actress over Zero Dark Thirty's Jessica Chastain, though Amour's Emmanuelle Riva, not up for a SAG Award last night, could still be a dark horse at the Oscars.

The Best Supporting Actor race remains wide-open after last night's victory by Tommy Lee Jones for Lincoln, with Silver Linings Playbook's Robert DeNiro, Django Unchained's Christoph Waltz (the Golden Globe winner) and The Master's Phillip Seymour Hoffman still with an outside shot.

With the Grammys now less than two weeks away on Feb. 10, Frank Ocean's tussle with Chris Brown, who always seems to pop up at this time of the year, won't hurt him in his bid for several categories, since ballots have already turned in, though many pundits have already been predicting victory for Mumford & Sons in the Album race.
