YOUR RADIO ADD RECAP

What Got Added at Top 40, Rhythm and Alternative

Hey, buddy. Let’s talk radio adds. Is it happy hour yet?

TOP 40

Capitol is off and running with the #1 Most Added song of the week, Sam Smith’s “Stay with Me.” RCA has a big week with three of the Most Added, including Shakira’s “Empire,” Magic!’s “Rude” and Becky G’s “Shower.” Republic keeps pace with three on the list as well, including Ariana Grande f/Iggy Azalea’s “Problem,” for a third week, Lorde’s “Tennis Court” and Neon Trees’ “Sleeping with a Friend.” Columbia grabs two slots with Calvin Harris’ “Summer,” back for a third week, and One Direction’s “You & I,” for a fourth week in a row. Closing out the action, Warner Bros. makes a return appearance with Jason Derulo f/Snoop Dogg’s “Wiggle.”

RHYTHM

It was a runaway week for Republic’s Lil Wayne with "Believe Me" f/Drake, which almost doubles their nearest competition. Usher’s "Good Kisser" (RCA), Jason Derulo f/Snoop Dogg’s "Wiggle" (Warner Bros.), Ariana Grande f/Iggy Azalea’s "Problem" (Republic) and TeeFlii’s "24 Hours" (Epic) all have solid double-digit add weeks. RCA nabs a handful of additional stations for Tinashe f/ScHoolboy Q’s "2 On," as does Columbia with Rita Ora’s "I Will Never Let You Down."

ALTERNATIVE
Columbia
's hot streak continues as Foster the People's new single, "Best Friend," was the Most Added song this week at Modern Rock. The label's last two weeks at the format were dominated by Jack White's "Lazaretto," which, again, had a nice day of clean-up adds. Dirty Heads had a good week with "My Sweet Summer," and so did Thirty Seconds to Mars’ latest, "Do or Die." Republic has two buzzing tracks that stole the spotlight this week: Tove Lo’s super-cool "Habits" and the international hit "Stolen Dance" from Milky Chance. Other winners included Epic's Last Internationale, RCA's Magic! and Warner Bros./Crush's Big Data.
