TUESDAY CHART WRAP-UP

It's Clean-Up Time at Some Key Mediabase Radio Formats

You may notice a theme in this week's chart wrap-up, as labels close out some big records. But you'll see some developing stories as well. Now please, for the love of all that's holy, someone pour us a drink.

It was a week of clean-up at Top 40. RCA closed out hits from Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. Red Bull RecordsAWOLNATION is now on an ultra-impressive 114 stations with “Sail.” Rihanna’s “What Now” (Def Jam/IDJ) and Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” (Warner Bros.) have a nice week of adds. Columbia gets it started with Calvin Harris’ latest, “Thinking About You.” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, meanwhile, have another one brewing with ”White Walls” (Macklemore).

CROSSOVER
It was clean-up time here as well. Jay Z’s “Tom Ford” (Roc-a-Fella/Roc Nation) takes top honors. Pitbull f/Ke$ha “Timber” (RCA), August Alsina’s “I Luv This Sh*t” (Def Jam/IDJ) and Iggy Azalea f/ T.I. “Change Your Life”(Def Jam/IDJ) are also among the Most Added. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “White Walls” (Macklemore) Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” (Warner Bros.) and Future’s “Honest” (Epic) have good clean-up weeks. Maejor Ali’s “Lolly” and Naya Rivera f/Big Sean “Sorry” (Columbia) continue to gather new stations as they head for the chart.

ALTERNATIVE
Lava/Republic’s Lorde has another big hit on her hands with “Team,” the week’s Most Added song in America at Modern Rock. We saw plenty of good action as well with Linkin Park’s “A Light That Never Comes” close-out for WB. The Killers (Island/IDJ) had an impressive week of adds with their new single, “Shot at the Night.” Kings Of Leon’s “Temple” (RCA) rounded up a passel of early adds. Pearl Jam (Monkeywrench/Republic), Chvrches (Glassnote), Arcade Fire (Merge) and Arctic Monkeys (Domino) had a splendid week as well.
