WEEK IN PREVIEW

The post-Easter market goes down overall this week as the Gentiles return home from shopping. Even still, Epic’s "NOW Vol. 6" will stay at the top of the album chart. If that surprises you, you’re probably the type of person who confuses Baptist missionaries with drug traffickers.

Atlantic’s Sunshine Anderson will have a huge debut, solidly in the Top 10. A new artist debuting that high? Wonder if the Peruvian government knows about this. Arista Nashville’s Brooks and Dunn will also debut in the Top 10.

Elsewhere, Atlantic’s Uncle Kracker is fighting to break into the Top 10 for the first time, while the "Josie and the Pussycats" ST is holding steady, even though the movie isn’t. DreamWorks’ Lifehouse is camped out in the Top 10, while the label’s Nelly Furtado continues her steady climb.

But we’re all just waiting for tomorrow, when Janet Jackson’s Virgin release, "All For You," streets. It’s already on everybody’s radar, though the CIA isn’t sure what it is.

In radio, look for RCA’s Eve 6 and Lava/Atlantic’s Willa Ford to be the Most Added at Top 40, while our pals at Crossover say that MCA’s Shaggy and Universal’s Ms. Toi will be the big adds this week.
