The question now is whether Katherine will take a chance on challenging the will, or ask to be named as a third executor.

JUDGE RULES KATHERINE MUST
BE SHOWN COPY OF AEG CONTRACT

A hearing taking place today in a downtown L.A. courtroom will decide several issues surrounding Michael Jackson’s will, including the late superstar’s relationship with his two co-executors, John Branca and John McClain, at the behest of his mother Katherine.

L.A. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff just ruled that AEG has to provide a copy of its contract with Michael for his 50 “This Is It” concerts in London to Katherine, who has agreed to the "confidentiality" clause on that agreement as well as the merchandising pact with Bravado.

The judge admitted Jackson's 2002 will, which names Branca and McClain as co-executors, into probate. The question now is whether Katherine will take a chance on challenging the will, or ask to be named as a third executor. If the no-contest will is opposed, Jackson could lose up to 40% of the inheritance. The judge gave her 30 days for due diligence on Branca and McClain.

The judge also approved a monthly allowance, retro to six months before Michael died, from the estate to Katherine and Jackson's three children. Specific amounts were not disclosed, but the judge decided on the lesser amount because of concerns about duplicate expenses.

Jackson’s mom was also given temporary guardianship of the kids, which Deborah Rowe’s attorney didn’t object to, though indications are a more permanent arrangement could be delayed, despite the reported settlement between Rowe and Katherine.

Randy, La Toya and Rebbie, who is reportedly taking care of Jackson’s three children, were also in the courtroom.
