iTunes charts

DOWNLOAD THIS: There are more new additions to the iTunes charts this morning than on most turnover Tuesdays—nine on the albums side (the lone holdover being Disney’s rock-steady Guardians of the Galaxy ST) and four on the singles Top 10. Pre-orders figure heavily on both charts, with SYCO/Columbia’s One Direction, DIY white rapper Hoodie Allen and Def Jam MC Logic hitting the big board, while instant-grat cuts from Broken Bow/RED’s Jason Aldean, 1D and Hoodie shake up the singles chart, along with a debuting single from Sony Music Nashville’s Carrie Underwood. We expect order to be restored by the time we take our next snapshot on Friday morning, but for now, novelty reigns. (9/30a)
