PERIOD PIECE: Genre-obliterating violinist Lindsey Stirling and a fellow thespian for a day remain in character during a pause in the video shoot for "Roundtable Rival" from her latest album Shatter Me (Lindseystomp). We’re not sure about the historical period in which the clip (shot by Everdream) is set, and this dude further confuses us—his expression says pirate but his costume says cavalry. Stirling, who also guests on Pentatonix’s “Papoutai,” will soon be kicking off a European tour. (9/17a)
