IVANA’S ITINERARY: Our own Karen Glauber is coming—or has already come—to a Modern Rock station near you on one of her occasional road trips. The drill, to which she is all too accustomed, involves playing a brand-new tune or two for the people who decide which records to add to their playlists. From Karen’s standpoint, the experience is akin to having a root canal, but without the anesthetics. She’s titled her latest column, a dispatch from the road, “Death of a Salesman.” In it, she explains what gets her through these punishing PoMo pilgrimages.
