UMGD promotions

HEAR YE, HEAR YE: UMGD has announced two promotions, as Michael Lawson is upped to VP Sales New York, while Jeff Stoltz rises to VP Sales; both will report to EVP/GM Candance Berry. Stoltz, based in the company's Santa Monica offices, will oversee numerous relationships with major commercial partners, including iTunes, Amazon, Google, YouTube and more; while Lawson will move from Rogers, AR to NYC and continue to oversee WalMart, Anderson and Best Buy and add digital accounts like Spotify and VEVO, as well as Target in Minneapolis. Asked about a possible global Friday street date, Lawson and Stoltz began screaming and curled into a fetal position. (9/2p)
