Twitter on VMAs

TWEET, TWEET: The MTV VMAs are coming and all the little birdies are tweeting. In preparation for the moon-man's big night, Twitter has created the above interactive graphic (click to enlarge and interact) to highlight the year's Most Mentioned Video of the Year nominees and possibly predict a winner. Pharrell's "Happy" (purple) claims the most states with 22, while Miley's "Wrecking Ball" (blue) follows with 17 and Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" reigns over the Southeast. Meanwhile, residents of New Hampshire are apparently really big Iggy fans. The folks at the blue bird also created this Twitter Reverb timeline to show how artist's are using their profiles to engage their fans before the show. And below, you can see the Most Mentioned artists since 7/26/13. Got that? Good.
