NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS—IT'S THE U.K. TOP 10: Four debuts are presently coexisting with five Top 10 mainstays, while wildcard Dolly Parton continues her improbable run, holding at #2. Those Brits—they love their tea and their Dolly. It’ll be interesting to see whether Hall of Famers Clapton and Petty have staying power, but the latter’s latest gives Max Lousada’s WMG four titles on the big board this week, one more than Jason Iley’s Sony Music.

Singles-wise, Magic!’s “Rude” (RCA) is now a transatlantic chart-topper, displacing Cheryl Cole’s Tinie Tempah-assisted comeback single “Crazy Stupid Love” (Polydor) off its perch. ZHU’s “Faded” (also on Polydor) bows at #3, pushing Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” down one slot, while “Hopeful” from Ella’s SYCO labelmates Bars & Melody makes its debut at #5. Ferdy Unger-Hamilton and Sonny Takhar must be rather pleased at the moment. Well played, old sports. (8/4a)
